How long has it been since you drank a stout with no adjuncts? Enter Pariah (7,0%) - my new Oatmeal Stout. Brewed with malted and flaked oats, hopped with Columbus, and fermented with an English ale yeast.
Pariah has a complex malt profile coming through in both aroma and taste with notes of liquorice, coffee, burnt caramel and a hint of smoke. It has a very smooth mouthfeel and a ends with a refreshing bitterness, making it quite drinkable in spite of its black appearance. To be honest, I think it's quite refreshing to drink a straight up classic stout like Pariah - I hope you'll also appreciate this glimpse into a simpler time
