2020 has been a true annus horribilis - a horrible year. The opposite of an annus horribilis is an Annus Mirabilis - a wonderful year, and even though we’re off to a rough start of 2021, at least I’m hopeful that 2021 will be a wonderful year.
So to show this hopefulness and look towards a brighter future, I’ve named my newest beer Annus Mirabilis.
Annus Mirabilis is a Double IPA in the New England-style. It is hopped with Amarillo, Ekuanot and Simcoe, which provides abundant orange and citrus notes to both aroma and flavor. Juicy, fruity and citrusy. Big, pillowy body and fuity sweetness, balanced by fresh and vibrant hoppiness.
